Bazooka Brothers is now supplying

RMW Uppers

Bazooka Brothers is proud to announce that we are working with Ron Williams at RMW to supply your upper needs. Until now there was only one real choice for a 45caliber upper blow back like the ones supplied by Olympic Arms. Ron at RMW has designed a new direct gas (DI) upper that uses all standard AR15 parts. Only the bolt face is modified to accept the 45acp cartridge and a proprietary gas block.  Because it use standard AR parts the availability of  replacement parts is  greatly expanded. New for 2012 all of our uppers come standard with a railed fore-end, your choice of length. Another advantage is that instead of having to wait 6 months to a year for an upper our uppers are available in 30days.

Some of the advantage of the gas system over the blow back are

  1. Reduced felt recoil
  2. Reduced muzzle rise
  3. Believe it or not a cleaner chamber
  4. Parts commonality
  5. No need for special weighted buffers
  6. In full auto a a slower cyclic rate

It is with much regret that I have to do this. I have not had an increase in price for my products since I started my business.

I was informed  this last week by my upper manufacturer that my costs on uppers was going up. He told me me that due to an increase in demand for parts his costs have increased. He told me that to get the uppers built in a timely manner he has had to go outside of his normal parts suppliers. That to maintain the current price the delivery could be delayed as much as a year.  The price for an upper has increased by $50. At this time my lowers will remain at the same price.

I anticipate the price to go back to the the normal rate as the demand in parts subsides.

This increase in demand for parts is due to the current election process and the fear that our current President will be re-elected. I only anticipate it to get worse the closer we get to the election. We can only pray that the current administration is voted out of office and things calm down.
